Celestial Courier - Weekly Forecast August 19th - August 25th

August 19th to August 25th

Full Moon in Aquarius kicks off the week! We have reached the climax of the Leo lunation, revealing the harvest of what was sown during the New Moon (08/05). Creative impulses are effectively socialized and need to deal with the limits and reverberations of existing in a collective context. An opportunity to see our issues and private dramas from a broader perspective, to perceive how they resemble and differ from so many other narratives.

Monday also marks the peak of the T-square aspects between Saturn in Pisces, Jupiter and Mars in Gemini, and Venus in Virgo. The tension between the four planets generates resolution and decisiveness around changes, adaptations, and closures in various areas of our lives. We may not fully grasp what we want to create in the future, but the experiences we need to close and let go of become clearer.

Throughout the week, we process and work with the major energy peaks of Monday. We begin to bring the changes indicated by the T-square into reality; many situations that were suspended, delayed or with obstacles begin to move towards resolutions as the planets move away.

The Sun will enter the sign of Virgo on Thursday (08/22) in the morning. The self-expression and creative expansion of the Leo season leave us; we face the practical effects and results of our games and are called to organize what is out of place. Analytical, critical and refining energy. We delve into the details that make up our routines and habits; we observe and improve methods and techniques.

Despite the resolute and mutable energy that the week brings, Mercury remains retrograde and operates as the ruler of Mars, Jupiter, Venus and the Sun; after its entry into Virgo. We advance in several areas, but certain internal revisions of logic and language prevent greater progress. As frustrating as it may be, it is important to give yourself space to complete the reevaluation processes indicated by the retrograde movement.

08/19 - Monday

The busiest day of the week! The kickoff is huge! Full Moon in Aquarius combined with the great T-square between 4 planets; several celestial movements reach their climax at the same time. Precisely because of the great demand in a single day, many perceptions and effective movements will unfold throughout the week.

The Full Moon in Aquarius indicates revelation and culmination of the Leo lunation. The creative spark that we started on the New Moon has refined and evolved as it has grown and now reaches its peak in the opposite sign; where we test the social and mental limits of our creativity. This Full Moon helps us locate groups and networks where our authentic desires and feelings can be expressed and welcomed.

The Moon enters Pisces during the night, bringing greater emotional fluidity and adaptability. We use our imagination to design emotional and psychological routes that are more aligned with our dreams; we swim between escapism and evolution. This ingress also places the Moon in the context of the T-square; we better understand how these other movements reflect on our emotions and psyche.

The T-square involves Mars, Jupiter, Saturn and Venus. All in Mutable signs, which end the seasons, therefore bringing energy of completion, improvement and change. The dissonance of elements, however, indicates that each one "pulls" the endings in a different direction; we experience several cycles and patterns ending simultaneously.

The Sun in Leo also forms a square to Uranus in Taurus; indicating a greater willingness and demand for ruptures and revolutions. Uranus' energy breaks with patterns and systematizations, bringing elements of high creative value that have not yet been properly organized and structured in our social and collective contexts.

In the face of so many movements, the only certainty is change.

08/20 - Tuesday

The Moon remains in Pisces throughout the day, moods remain fluid and easily dispersed. We also observe the emotional and psychological effects of the culminations of the Full Moon in Aquarius; we bring more sensitivity and empathy to observe our past.

The proximity to the planets involved in the T-square aspect also intensifies throughout the day; the reverberations of Monday reach our inner space and we begin to produce emotional responses to the changes. Although it is a good "thermometer" to feel the new movements, it is important to recognize that emotions could still be loaded with old cycles and patterns.

The Moon reaches Saturn in Pisces through conjunction during the night. This aspect brings greater austerity and a sense of responsibility, but it can hinder free emotional flow and self-acceptance. Embrace the limiting and structuring energy of Saturn without abandoning ourselves emotionally; recognize and act appropriately in the face of difficulties and still accept ourselves.

08/21 - Wednesday

During the early morning, the Moon meets Jupiter, Mars and Venus by square and opposition, respectively. These tense aspects can make it difficult to sleep or bring greater agitation during the morning; we may feel a strong need to act or decide on necessary changes and completions.

The Moon forms aspects to the generational planets, Uranus and Neptune, during the afternoon. These aspects can bring perspectives of larger cycles to our issues, such as how generational dynamics have impacted and brought about the issues of the present moment.

At night, the Moon arrives in the sign of Aries bringing more lively and spontaneous moods. We connect with our primordial spark, the spark of life that moves, animates and inspires us. Mars in Gemini rules the Moon indicating a lot of mental and analytical activity based on our desire to act; we try to formulate strategies and mental routes to achieve them.

08/22 - Thursday

The Sun enters the sign of Virgo in the late morning. Our desires, ambitions, personal power and sense of identity move into the details of our lives; we bring light to our routines, habits and methodologies. Energy for analysis and discernment on a material level, separating the wheat from the chaff.

Upon leaving its domicile, the Sun is once again under the rule of another planet. Mercury, ruler of Virgo, deliberates on the issues of the sign. Mercury moves through Leo; indicating mutual receptivity, one in the domicile of the other. They support each other more easily, but are still a little "outside" of their own element.

Despite the restless and agitated energy of the Moon in Aries and the ingress of the Sun into Virgo, the sky of the day remains somewhat still. The planets do not form any aspect with each other, not even the Moon.

The day may seem boring or "still" precisely because of Aries' energy of initiative; it is important to understand that doing more will not always generate more results; or better results. The biggest challenge of the day is to regulate impulsiveness; to wait before making irreversible decisions or actions.

08/23 - Friday

The Moon in Aries sextiles Jupiter in Gemini at dawn. This aspect indicates optimism and emotional well-being; we notice the experiences of inclusion and social cooperation that permeate us. In the morning, the Moon trines and sextiles Mars and Mercury, bringing greater enthusiasm and willingness to start the day.

The Moon remains out of course, without forming aspects, until the evening when it enters Taurus; the sign of its exaltation. Our imagination and moods are guided by our senses, the physical body as a vehicle for imagination, nutrition, care and memory. We are invited to immerse ourselves in the sensitive nature of inhabiting/being the physical body.

The Sun in Virgo trines the Moon, the first aspect they form since the Sun entered Virgo. We begin to perceive and highlight, from the experiences and sensations of the body, the demands for change and improvement in routine and habits; whether due to dysfunctionalities or the perception of the possibility of reaching even higher "peaks".

08/24 - Saturday

The main aspect of the day occurs between Mercury in Leo and Mars in Gemini, a sextile. Opportunities to mentally organize our ambitions, desires, as well as conflicts and dissonances; it favors the planning of strategies. Mercury is retrograde, which can bring up issues from the past or at least a more reflective quality to the aspect.

The Moon continues in Taurus, strengthening the connection between our emotional experiences and our physical bodies. Activities that bring physical well-being are very welcome to regulate moods and bring emotional comfort. However, the Moon does not form aspects throughout the day; moods remain placid and not very agitated even with the aspect between Mars and Mercury.

08/25 - Sunday

A sextile between Saturn in Pisces and the Moon in Taurus during the early morning hours can bring denser moods and deep insights into the effect of time on our bodies and how we organize the sensations that arise from them. Opportunities to better understand our individual experiences considering collective contexts and limits.

In the morning, the Moon forms a square to Mercury in Leo, bringing greater activity and mental restlessness. The desire to express and channel authentic emotions is in tension with our search for comfort and physical well-being; finding ways to satisfy the desires of the heart without compromising the demands of the body.

In the afternoon, the Moon in Taurus forms a trine to Venus in Virgo. This aspect favors pleasurable experiences and interpersonal contacts around common values. Because they share the same element, Earth, they demand materialization; thinking and feeling are not enough. The opportunities indicated by the trine are "easy" or inherent; when engaging with the material universe in search of pleasure (Taurus), it is natural to find the opportunities for improvement and enhancement available (Virgo).
